Is an international Mexican skateboard brand created by professional skateboarder Shadi Charbel.

Born in Mexico City, Shadi turned pro as the first official member of the Mexican Skate Team. Since then he has gone global, competing in places like Australia, China, Spain and the U.S. His flashy, artistic and big ollie style earns him the nickname “King of Pop”, a name he lives up to with parts on 411 VM, Vice, Kingpin Mag, etc. Charbel has skated for companies such as Krooked, Spitfire and Royal.

In 2008, while still making his way to the top of his career, the King of Pop's knees “exploded”, hampering his professional career. He undergoes meniscus surgery but Shadi is unable to skate. But it is then that Shadi begins to plot the creation of Deza Skateboards.

Shadi Charbel redirects his energy and deep dedication and makes some of the coolest boards Mexico has ever seen. After 15 years of expansion in Central America, now DEZA is finally ready for the world, and it is in the year 2022 when the brand expands to the rest of the American and European continent.

It also has the largest distributor of skate products in Mexico “Madera Verde Distribution”.

And it is now that the journey begins with the highest quality clothing and designs made by Mexican artists recognized worldwide, such as: Ollin Kaban, Luis Ponce, Cocolvú, among others.
